WELCOME TO THE NEXT

The Next is about utilising young peoples interests as a process for engaging them in an exploration of the world around them. At the core of the project is the desire to develop a way of engaging young people in education processes that reflect where young people are at.

The Next project consists of two parts:

  1. Research looking at Hip Hop culture from three perspectives
  2. A resource for youth workers/educators, that provides a sound understanding of Hip Hop culture; how it empowers young people, and how it can be used to engage them in an exploration of the world around them.

The site contains a low resolution version of the resource and the research has been omitted.
